Key Responsibilities
• Conduct client intake and assessments
• Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for clients
• Maintain occupational health and safety standards
• Provide crisis intervention and harm reduction support
• Follow relevant policies, regulations, and procedures
• Prepare shift reports documenting client observations
• Complete incident reports for serious occurrences, accidents, and injuries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Education
• Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care/Worker, Social Service Work, Social Work, Psychology, Addictions and Mental Health, or a related social science, behavioural science, or health-related discipline
• Previous social service experience is an asset
• New graduates welcome
Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Valid Police (Vulnerable Sector) Clearance
• Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Harm Reduction Certificate
• WHMIS Certificate
• Occupational Health & Safety Awareness Certificate
• Workplace Violence & Harassment Certificate
• AODA Certificate
