HOME CARE  STAFFING

Our Home Care Program provides a wide variety of services from Companion Care to 24-Hour Home Care. We take care of everything including medication, light housekeeping, assistance with mobility and medical escorts to and from appointments.

We focus on making it possible for you to continue enjoying your life even with aging and health challenges.

Personal care

 

Provides assistance with activities of daily living, which include grooming, dressing, eating, getting in and out of bed, toileting, mobility, bathing  and medication reminders. These services are available to clients of all ages and for those experiencing a variety of life-changing illnesses which includes dementia and end-of-life-care.

Homemaking Attendants

 

Offer clients and their families assistance with regular household tasks. This allows them to maintain a comfortable and safe home environment. This service includes meal preparation, transportation, menu planning, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and medication reminders.

Companion Attendant

Alpha Health Care personnel are available to provide companionship to clients by engaging in conversation, sharing a meal or just simply having coffee together. We offer this service in any setting such as the privacy of your own home, nursing home, retirement home or in hospital.

Medical Escort

We provide staff to accompany clients to doctor’s appointments or other social and personal appointments such as barbershops, beauty salons, spas, weddings or any social event the client wishes to participate in. We believe that social outings are a good way for our clients, to be invigorated in body and spirit.

Dementia

Our staff are professionally trained to work to improve the lives of people with dementia, Alzheimer’s or any other degenerative cognitive or neurological conditions.

End-of-Life Care

Our end-of-life care program provides comfort and support to individuals who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Our motto, “Caring with Passion” comes to light for clients at this stage of life because all our staff take a holistic approach to the delivery of care.

Acquired Brain Injury

The Acquired Brain Injury Program is designed to provide support for clients and families through the recovery journey from traumatic brain injury. These injuries include, stroke, brain tumour, aneurysm and other causes resulting in physical, cognitive and emotional changes.

Respite Care

 

We provide short-term care where your loved one stays in a facility temporarily or when the family caregiver takes a leave of absence from caring for their loved ones. Through our program, family caregivers can benefit from a well needed temporary break in order to take care of their own well being.
